Duolingo?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

I’m actually bilingual, I can speak fluently in both English and Spanish. I also know the basics of French and German, though I haven’t practiced much in years so those are a bit more on the “languages I used to kind of, sort of understand but now I just use them to brag, but don’t actually speak them” side of things.

Spanish translation of the text above:

De hecho, soy bilingüe, soy capaz de hablar de manera fluida tanto en Inglés cómo en Español. También conozco los elementos básicos del Francés y del Alemán, aunque no los he practicado mucho en los últimos años, entonces los considero “idiomas que solía, más o menos saber, pero ahora solo los uso para presumir”.

No French or German unfortunately 🙁

Lightning Fast

I am, mostly, a very quick learner. I’m able to understand concepts and apply them as long as they are clear enough and it is knowledge that I can use and/or apply. I know this because I tend to try to learn most skills on my own, which carries with it a very long list of pros and cons.

For example: I learned how to make a whole portfolio using WordPress and some plugins in one night.

Oh, not this one.

Another one, which you probably don’t know because she goes to another school.

🙂

Programming with Cobras?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

My first contact with any kind of programming was through Python and soon after with Arduino. I was able to make some mean robots back in high school. However it all kind of feels like a blur and even if you had me at gun point I probably wouldn’t be able to recreate them here and now. This is just more of a fun fact I guess.

Professional Video Editing Skills

Reading Time: < 1 minute

That is if your definition of professional is “Can make make above average quality Youtube videos”. My editing software of choice is Davinci Resolve 17. I also possess basic knowledge on film making and color correction. Editing is more of a hobby to me, but I still try to make the highest quality videos that I’m able to do and constantly learning new things about my software and optimizing my processes.

If anything, editing is the thing that helped me learn to learn, as weird as that might sound. It really made me recognize the patterns that work the best for me when it comes to learning new skills.
